The X Brace: Built by Doctors, Proven by Athletes

posted 2019-02-04T18:52:31 in Product Announcement

To offer foot pain sufferers and medical professionals an innovative, effective, easy-to-use product that delivers immediate relief from heel pain due to plantar fasciitis and Sever’s disease, Medi-Dyne recently announced the addition of The X Brace to its family of brands.

“The acquisition of The X Brace rounds out Medi-Dyne’s comprehensive array of products that address plantar fasciitis and Sever’s disease,” says Craig DiGiovanni, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Medi-Dyne. “Our mission is to help sufferers realize both immediate relief and long-term healing in order to get back to the activities they enjoy.”

Developed by Dr. Joshua P. Eldridge, a certified chiropractic sports physician with experience treating patients at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado, The X Brace provides a comfortable, low-profile, pain-relieving solution that addresses previously hard-to-treat circumstances, such as wearing flip flops, sandals, or when walking barefoot. “Providing a solution for sandal wearers and for walking barefoot is imperative,” says DiGiovanni. “There’s nothing on the market that works like The X Brace.”

Manufactured in the United States, the X Brace is an effective, easy-to-use foot and heel support solution that is similar to the low-dye taping technique—but without the tape. It features an integrated silicone strip on the heel strap for added comfort and grip, while its patented “X” design eases some of the tension and stress placed on the plantar fascia ligament by limiting the amount of stretching it can do. This results in keeping the plantar fascia from stretching excessively and causing significant pain.

Such a product complements Medi-Dyne’s line of proven cushioning, support, stretching, and massage products and proves the success of the company’s mission to serve as a leading international provider of plantar fasciitis and foot ailment solutions. “We’ve worked diligently to become plantar fasciitis specialists,” says DiGiovanni, “and we’ll continue to lead the way in offering solutions to span the entire therapy plan, from pain relief to healing.”
