VICIS, the manufacturer of the top-ranked ZERO1 football helmet, has now re-engineered protection and performance for youth football athletes, announcing last month the launch of the ZERO1 YOUTH.
“We took the best from the ZERO1 and created the world’s top performing youth football helmet,” VICIS stated on its website. “VICIS means change.”
Just like the ZERO1 is regarded as the best helmet in the NFL and NCAA, VICIS anticipates its ZERO1 YOUTH to become the top-rated helmet in youth football. The youth version will accommodate a wide range of head shapes with small, medium, and large sizes available, providing coverage to head circumferences measuring 19.5 inches to 23.5 inches.
The ZERO1 YOUTH is available in a wide range of colors, and custom colors can be ordered at an additional cost for orders of 20 helmets or more. It also features three models of facemasks as options and is compatible with Nike, Under Armour, and Oakley ADULT visors. VICIS also revealed that it anticipates to offer a youth version of its VICIS EDGE Shield by Oakley.
With an individual helmet retail price of $495, special pricing for teams, club programs, and leagues will be available for pre-orders beginning on November 1, 2018, for delivery prior to the 2019 season.
